The APG ECM newspapers dominate the conservative territory of rural Minnesota, as well as rural territory across the US. Rural areas are known for their comfortable conservative nature.
However, in Minnesota APG ECM editors have routinely shown liberal bias.
Most recently, they have begun to evince socialist leanings. A recent article cited an "equity" institute to support their socialist-based positions.
The article was published in over a dozen papers, including very conservative Morrison County.
SOCIALISM: EVERYONE TAKEN CARE OF BY GOVERNMENT
The editors recommend spending the surplus on a "permanent rental assistance program" in Minnesota, or for more Section 8 (referring to it euphemistically as a "federal housing voucher program"). Section 8 is notorious for increased crime and ruining once safe neighborhoods. Minnesota is the top 3rd highest taxed state in the nation, and also a magnet for people seeking to become dependents on the state.
The editors say they want to give some money back -- but also not before funding the socialist-based programs they recommend.
The editorial board said of the handouts, "There is something in it for everyone and, as such, we would encourage bipartisan support."
SOCIALISM: "EQUITY" FOR EVERYONE
SOCIALISM: SUPPORTING THE GOVERNMENT INTERFERING WITH PRIVATE LIFE
The editorial board blames the "negative economic impact of COVID-19 over the past two years" -- but it takes no heed of the U.S. Constitution which forbids such interference with the life, liberty, and happiness of the citizens.
The editorial board blames the "negative economic impact of COVID-19 over the past two years" -- but it takes no heed of the U.S. Constitution which forbids such interference with the life, liberty, and happiness of the citizens.
The liberal and even socialist bias of the "editorial board" of the Morrison County Record and APG ECM is clearly apparent.
